Frequently Asked Questions
The following are some questions that often arise with clients. Please contact me if your question doesn't fall into any of the categories below:
Q: Can I meet the deadline without large numbers of staff?
A: Yes. You'll be dealing directly with the person who devises the concepts and executes the work. This makes me much more responsive than dealing with an account service person or a designer who has no control over the whole project workflow. I'm also use to working to tight deadlines and I know how important they are.
Q: We haven't worked together before so how can I be sure?
A: We'll break large projects into bite size chunks and then show you how to work with each part and progressively. This step by step process means that we can work closely together during each step of the project.
Q: Why wouldn't I just do it in-house?
A: We have a very structured approach to managing projects - let me show you how. I'm sure you will see that I can give you the same control as if you were doing it in-house. This also means that you will have the services of a professional, but you wont be paying for them sitting at a desk eight hours a day. You'll also have the benefit of someone looking at your project from a more objective viewpoint.
Q: Why shouldn't I just go with a cheaper supplier?
A: I am sure that you can always find a cheaper price, but keep in mind that they may be younger, less experienced designers. The guarantee of completion on time and on budget comes from over 20 years experience in managing projects like yours.
Alternatively cheap printers or suppliers who offer you fast and cheap design services don't necessarily have your business as their top priority. They're looking for very fast turnarounds with a large number of clients, and with minimal effort - that's how they survive. It might 'fill the gap' on a design request, but this will rarely equate to the best and most effective solution for your needs.
Q: Why shouldn't I get my brother-in-law who's studying design to do it?
A: A friend or relative who is studying or starting out won't necessarily look at your project in the same way as an experienced professional. It's these years of experience that gives you the real value for money. Something that's cheaper and that 'looks good' doesn't necessarily mean that it works more effectively in bringing in your customers, or selling more of your product.
Q: We need to write up a strategy for this and I don't have the time to do it just now.
A: Great. Strategy is one of my strengths. I can outline a strategy and cost it for you to get your business promotions moving while you're busy.

I look forward to working with you.
